More About the Spectrum Series
Spectrum Statement:
I painted these panels after working with quilt patterns for years. I used 50 tubes of Liquidtex Modular Colors (pre-mixed acrylic paints) and divided them into six areas of the spectrum. Each panel has hues within a narrow range of the spectrum and are arranged randomly with a few squares of contrasting colors thrown in. The dots in corners are an adaptation of the Drunkard's Path quilt pattern shown below.
